Transphobia is an attempt by trans men to co opt the struggles of trans womyn. It’s false, it’s a lie, it is yet another patriarchal power grab

Okay, so either she is saying that biological females who transition to men are trying to steal the limelight from trans-women, or she's purposel misgendering trans-folk and jumping on the "all men have cooties" bandwagon.
Personaly I think its the former. I'll explain why under this
So, in some (relatively) friendly TERF circles, the narrative goes like this; Transphobia and trans-misogyny don't exist, there is only male privilege and misogyny. Trans-men are effectively abandoning womanhood and misogyny for the easier life of a man and male privilege. Meanwhile, trans-women are only seen valid if they a) Transition, preferably in their teens, b) tow the party line and c) Don't complain about being looked down the nose at by "real women", who obviously have it much worse than you. Thus, late transitioning trans-women or trans-woman who don't transition, are treated as people who would have their cake and eat it too, i.e they would invade females spaces and date lesbians, while keeping their male privileges. Needless to say, this is in many ways even more bigoted than simple, NO MEN IN MY TOILETS hysteria.
@Ivurm
Thanks for the expo, I literally had no idea what this person was babbling about.
Gotta love the wordmaking these idiots employ though: Patriarchy is just as hilarious as cultural marksism or sexual market, placing it directly behind my all time favourite Civilisation of Death.
Society is biased against transsexuals, be they trans-men or trans-women, so most people oppose both, and I, for one, have always associated transphobia with the transgendered of either identity. I feel that you are trying to seize attention for one side because it suits your black and white ideology.
Uhm. Transmen get no attention compared to transwomen. Which is kind of good for them, in that they have a much lower murder rate.
But transguys definitely not particularly prone to 'patriarchal power grabs,' or really to being pushy as guys go. (After all, they do generally spend their formative years being told to sit down and shut up because they're girls. Some parts of social conditioning are pretty darn insidious.)
Thanks Ivurm, haha OldViking.
Confused?
