The moral consequences of such video games as James Bond (Agent 007), Vice City and other sexually explicitly video games is reflected in the daily news. Last month a 16-year-old Roswell, Georgia, girl murdered a 28-year-old man to steal his PS4 PlayStation gaming system! What do you expect when God's Word is stripped away from children's lives? It's not that hard to figure out! Instead of teaching children that they were deliberately formed by a loving God, they're instead taught that they evolved from stardust by accidental aftermath and cosmic coincidence from a Big Bang 13 billion years ago!

I still don't get why the idea that we weren't formed intentionally must lead to amorality/immorality. Is there some kind of idea that corruption is easier than righteousness, and/or the latter only meaningful if imposed by something else? (What happened to virtue being its own purpose?)
In most cases, I'm genuinely uncertain whether those who claim that lack of a Creator must somehow lead to immorality are reflecting their own inner drives to be blindly hedonistic/impulsive (in which case they may want to talk to a psychologist about where the drives in question might be coming from, and how to decisively quell them without being harassed by them), or just parroting the preacher party line, without actually looking into their hearts of hearts. But given what Stewart's been convicted for, I have a hunch it's the former situation with him.

If the force of law and the threat of 15 years in jail isn't going to stop someone from committing a crime, what makes you think they'll be stopped by waving a 2,000 year old book at them and saying that some invisible boogeyman who has never treated criminals any differently than pious people is suddenly going to get off His lazy ass and get 'em?

Or, alternatively, we're teaching our kids they are made of stardust instead of telling them we were haphazardly constructed by a vindictive demiurgic deity who would torture us forever if we don't submit to him, all under the pretext of love.

Always pulling this claim out. Escaping Christian indoctrination in Georgia is very unlikely and David and his ilk are well aware Christian education doesn't deter such acts.
