Yeah.. Umm.. I don't hate anyone. I simply said there is a cure out there for homosexuality.
My dislike for you, and people like you is based more on pity for your ignorance.
You don't like the idea of curing homosexuality through medical professional means because you are afraid it might come up with an effective cure for the illness. Then, you will have lost a group of people you can drag into the victim column. Lose that and your side loses votes. That is what it is all about.
Phuck, you progressives have made younger folks feel so much like victims that these same young progressive types are turning into mass murderers. They feel so hopeless that they lose it and go on a rampage. The progressives can take full responsibility for it too It is no coincidence that the rebirth of the progressive movement back in the 90's runs along the same time line as the increase in mass murders in this country.

So you don't hate us, you just dislike us?
I don't like the idea of -trying- to cure homosexuality because it can cause serious psychological harm and the best case scenario of such attempts is that nothing happens at all.
Medical professionals and leaders of quack reparative therapy organisations both have said it doesn't work. The APA and the founder of Exodus International, if you want specifics.
"I don't hate anyone. I simply said there is a cure out there for homosexuality."
Fun fact, claiming an aspect of a person is a disease when it isn't is hate.
I've yet to hear of a single mass shooter who claimed to be progressive. When any politics are declared, they always identify with the right wing or libertarians, which in effect is just about the same thing.
It is no coincidence that the emergence of Rush Limbaugh, Fox News and other lie-spewing, hate-mongering, paranoia-inducing hate radio and television back in the 90's runs along the same time line as the increase in mass murders in this country.
Fixed.

The whole "ex-gay" movement is based in hate. They claim that gay people are a disease, then take the gays who were unfortunate enough to be sent to them waaaaaaaaay far away, and brainwash them into suppressing their urges and becoming one of their little "ex-gay" puppets.
Sad thing is, a lot of these people wind up committing suicide from the stress and general unhappiness that comes from repressing a fundamental part of one's being. In addition, lots of the "ex-gays" wind up turning back and saying that their time as an "ex-gay" was just an act that they felt they had to put up.

Ibuki thinks that it's time to put a stop to reparative therapy once and for all, because it only hurts people and doesn't help anyone!
I simply said there is a cure out there for homosexuality.
a) no there isn't
b) we don't need one, any more than we need a cure for left-handedness (they used to try "reparative therapy" for that, too)
c) the reason people insist that homosexuality can be "cured" is because to admit it can't be would mean admitting they're just a bunch of bigots picking on people who have no choice in the matter.
What about the Progressive movement of the early 1900s? Did Robert LaFollette, Sr support mass murder?
And what if *gasp* t3h gh3y is not an illness?
My dislike for you, and people like you is based more on pity for your ignorance.
The feeling is entirely mutual, though on my side it is bolstered with evidence.
You don't like the idea of curing homosexuality through medical professional means because you are afraid it might come up with an effective cure for the illness.
No; I don't like the idea of "curing" homosexuality because it isn't an illness.
Then, you will have lost a group of people you can drag into the victim column. Lose that and your side loses votes.
Yet there are tens of millions who vote Democratic who don't claim to be victims while the Religious Right makes a specialty of claiming victim status. By your logic, shouldn't you be a Democrat?
The progressives can take full responsibility for it too It is no coincidence that the rebirth of the progressive movement back in the 90's runs along the same time line as the increase in mass murders in this country.
Number of homicides of more than 2 people on one occasion in the United States:
1980-1989 88
1990-1999 83
2000-2009 87
2010-2014 34
You're full of crap.
"My dislike for you, and people like you"
Bigot, noun:
: a person who strongly and unfairly dislikes other people, ideas, etc. : a bigoted person; especially : a person who hates or refuses to accept the members of a particular group
: a person who is obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices; especially : one who regards or treats the members of a group with hatred and intolerance
So, Elliot Rogers was our fault? It's making my brain hurt trying to make logic sense out of that statement.
OOC: As a medical assistant I can state as "curing gayness" is a colossal, smelly load of crap.
Homosexuals don't think of themselves as victims, and neither do progressives. Wingnuts, on the other hand, have embraced victimology with religious fervor.
My dislike of you and people like you is that, beyond your suppression of other humans, you think any trait you do not like is a disease. Homosexuality is not a disease, which is why your 'restorative therapy' does not work on homosexuals. It is a personality trait (read: NORMAL) and is therefore a NON-ISSUE as far as you are concerned. People are people, and it is about time you began to treat them as such. You are a bigot, see above.
"I've yet to hear of a single mass shooter who claimed to be progressive. When any politics are declared, they always identify with the right wing or libertarians, which in effect is just about the same thing."
There was Floyd Corkins, who was going to shoot up the Family Research Council headquarters about 2 years ago but was stopped after only non-fatally shooting one security guard. But that's the only one I can think of in recent memory.
I don;t like the idea of trying to cure homosexuality because there is nothing to cure.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with a person who is attracted to a person of their gender. They don;t need to be "cured" and they certainly don't need an immoral and damaging attempt at "curing" them.
"It is no coincidence that the rebirth of the progressive movement back in the 90's runs along the same time line as the increase in mass murders in this country. "
It's true. The rebirth of the progressive movement was motivated by the growth of the conservative mass murder movement.
Yeah, sorry, the scientific community is trying to isolate the Right-Wing mentality, the condition that forces people to not only believe in lies and ridiculous shit but ONLY believe in that therefore being forever doomed to take the dumbest most ass-backwards and proven wrong stand on every issue.
They know it's connected to paranoia issues supported by only unwarranted fears and a weakness for the worst performances of Hyperbole known to mankind but they can't find that mindfucked element that just wants everything to get worse so they can bitch more. They have a name for it, Conservative, but what causes it?.
Is it overkill bitching?
Is it sadistic desires?
Is it all loss of hope?
Is it hatred of others happiness?
Is it just hatred of others?
Is it a problem with their poisons?
Is it a belief that good news must be bad?
I fear it's the "worst performances of Hyperbole known to mankind" that commercials and church have trained, brainwashed them to heed. If it ain't loud and full of shit they don't wanna listen.
Looked at the crap the right-wing have collectively nodded their empty fucking heads to over the last 20 years. That there's an anti-gay pill on the horizon is more likely then most their shit.
Two things;
1. HOMOSEXUALS DO NOT WORK THAT WAY!
2. It's a little known fact that before progressives came into existence the US was a perfect Utopia with buildings made from pure diamonds and everyone wore togas. We came this close to turning the whole population into omnipotent beings of pure energy but those god damned liberal commie pinko fascists had to come in here with all of their BS and ruin it for everybody.
Confused?
