I told you Ekonomiques. Micro to be precise. You must be from the chattering classes - you are so obsessed with what is "correct" grammar

The problem with you people is thatt having blackmailed MPs to pass the gay marriage law and used the media to bully the general public you thought everything would go quiet.

It wont. Christians and Muslims will NEVER accept "gay" marriage and the fight will go on causing a deep schism in society. I believe an unfortunate side effect is that discrimination and attacks on gays will increase (not by Christians I hasten to add) and attempts to get the police to use more and more force wont work.

And you are failing to see that history is against you.
So called "gay rights" have been forced on the majority in Europe and the US but these countries are in decline. China is hostile to "gay rights". India is also hostile and will soon elect a Hindu nationalist prime minister who will be even more strident. Russian policies on homosexuality are spreading throughout the former soviet union. In Africa, draconian laws agaist homesxuality are spreading like wildfire. I dont think we need to mention the Middle East do we? South America will always be influenced by Catholic teaching and please dont think Pope Francis is going to alter church views on homosexuality. He is just
doing some good PR to take the heat of the child abuse scandals.

All in all, the influential countries of the future are very much against the Western idea of gay rights and Western actions are making things worse not better..

Dont get me wrong, I disapprove strongly of what African countries are doing. The point is I am a relative moderate on these issues but the more the UK/USA pushes
these countries the more likelihood there is of some group of nutters putting forward draconian and outrageous laws.

With homosexuality the motto should be "discretion in exchange for tolerance" not "in your face" gay rights
