[on the SCOTUS "Hobby Lobby" case]
God has a very special place for baby-killers. It's called Hell. You three "justices" [Ginsburg, Sotomayor, & Kagan] will all be there in your own time. With any luck, before this case is finished. You clearly are NOT objectionable as your position REQUIRES you to be! It's called religious freedom for a reason. The principle of separation of church and state exists FOR A REASON! YOU DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT, IN ANY CAPACITY, TO PASS JUDGEMENT ON ANYONE - INDIVIDUAL OR CORPORATION - WITH REGARDS TO RELIGIOUS BELIEFS.
Oh my God and Holy shit! How is it possible you don't realize this? Please, for the sake of all humanity, kill yourselves and take that idiot Obama with you! The free people of the United States cannot suffer any more tyrannical leadership. Why are you all so insistent on destroying The Constitution???

But I thought it didn't exist, and was just made-up by liberals trying to oppress you freaks? Can you people try to be a little more consistent with your WHARRGARBLL?

So if your employer says he's going to fire you if you don't pray towards Mecca during the mandatory prayer breaks, that would be 100% constitutional, right?
Or would your employer be illegally forcing their religeon on you?
"Freedom of Religion" means that you can not be forced to belong to a religion, neither can anybody stop you from joining one an practicing it to the extend that you do not harm others.
Hobbly Lobby is denying people health care and bases it on their religion. This is not covered by "Freedom of Religion". No employer has the right to treat people differently just because of their own religious views. In fact, there's a good case to be made that Hobby Lobby is actually the one violating the religious freedom of their employees.
Neither is a company capable of having a faith. A company is made up of owners who might have a faith, but a company is a legal person - only a natural person can have religious believes. They can also not marry, vote or run for office, adopt children or have parental rights - because common sense.
@Jewnior Spokesman: No, but the pure fact that the case won't go 9-0 pisses them off.
Oh, and point the second:
The whole point of corporations is that they're a legally distinct legal person from the owners. If the corporation goes bankrupt, the owners do not. If the corporation is sued, the owners are not at risk.
So surely the corporation can't be assumed to have the same religious beliefs the owners? How can they proove that the corporation is religiously opposed to contraception, especially considering that it was more than willing to provide it right up to the point it became mandatory?
YOU DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT, IN ANY CAPACITY, TO PASS JUDGEMENT ON ANYONE
Except for that "goddamn piece of paper" called the U.S. Constitution.
This is focusing on one thing (morning after pills) and ignoring everything else. To reject health care as a whole because of one thing is harmful.
I don't even count morning after pills as abortion.
That being said they are not forcing judgement on anyone. They are simply keeping that option open. It's up to the individual to use that option or not.
Judge not, MGolden14, lest ye be judged.
I don't think "objectionable" means what you think it means. You wanted "objective", right?
The STATE can't infringe on people's religious practicing. Corporations do not have human rights. You also don't have the right, in any capacity, to pass judgment on anyone with regards to lack of religious beliefs either, stupid.

But according to you guys, seperation of church and state is a myth and the constiution says no such thing. So which is it?
Ever heard of Mormons? Their religion enjoined them to practice polygamy, but the Federal Government would not let Utah join the union until state law matched the federal laws regarding polygamy. There are a number of instances were the Federal Government, with Christians cheering them on, forbad practices followed by minor religions.
And of course you realize if this law passed, stores owned by Muslims could insist Christian female employees wear burkas on pain of being fired?
This "Religious Freedom" framing device is so stupid. Withholding birth control coverage is not a central tenet of Christian faith & devotion.
I know The Apostle's Creed by heart & even know a bit of The Nicene Creed. No where does it say anything about abortions & birth control.
Stop, your religious freedom shall remain unhindered. You can go to any church, pray anytime & listen to sermons unhindered.
And contrary to what that stupid CEOs United (what it really is), corporations are not people.
If you're fine with Viagra & penis pumps, then you should be fine with contraceptives. Now shut up!
But nobody is judging Hobby Lobby's religious beliefs. What they are being judged on is the owners' right to impose their religious beliefs on their employees through the benefits that they give them. Unless Hobby Lobby's owners insist that all their employees adhere to certain religious beliefs, as an employer, they cannot insist that their employees abide by their religious beliefs in how they use the salary or benefits they pay. For example, an employer who happens to be LDS may not prevent his non-Mormon employees from spending their wages on alcohol, tea, or coffee if it pleases them.
Please, for the sake of all humanity, kill yourselves and take that idiot Obama with you!
You do realize that Christianity believes murder is a sin, don't you?
Wait a moment, does this mean that your, say, Jehovah Witness boss can, from now on, decline to pay for your medical procedures involving transfusion? Cause that would be pretty rad!
Also, just go with single-payer already, will you? Business owners' religion will not be 'trampled' anymore, everybody will be happy, 'socialism' to the rescue, right? Right?...
God has a very special place for those that deny the sick care. It's called hell. Those who oppose health care for all will go there in their own time. In luck, before the sick die themselves. It is clearly not as objectionable as your position is. It's called religious compassion for a reason. The principle of separation of church and state does not exist to deny others compassion. You do not have the right, as stated in the bible, to pass judgment on anyone.
Oh my god, how is it not possible to realize this? Please, for the sake of humanity, gain a modicum of compassion and take the republican party with you. The free people of the United States cannot suffer any more of this tyrannical leadership. Why are you so insistent on destroying the weak?
That's a whole lotta irony. So the government has no right to impede the religious freedom of corporations, but a corporation has the right to impose their religious beliefs on their employees? If I were a betting man, I'd say that this is the type of a-hole who does not really support the separation of church and state. Oh, and btw, contraception does not "kill babies."
And wishes of suicide. Nice touch. Classy.
@ creativerealms: It's not an opinion that morning-after pills do not cause abortions, it is a fact.

Not that it really matters, as there is no logical reason why abortion shouldn't be covered by insurance, either. But, LOL, like America could have a rational conversation about that...
YOU DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT, IN ANY CAPACITY, TO PASS JUDGEMENT ON ANYONE - INDIVIDUAL OR CORPORATION - WITH REGARDS TO RELIGIOUS BELIEFS.
Well done... now you understand why Hobby Lobby can't do what it's trying to do.
@Deep Search
And this is why I'm part of the ignorant mass. I did not realize that the abortion pill (Mifeprex) and emergency contraception pills were not the same thing.
Of course unlike many I'm willing to learn.
Practice what you preach, sparky...
So god has a place for baby killers? Are we counting where he commanded it? Not to mention separation of church and state is for people of varying faiths to practice without persecution. Has nothing to do with corporations, and like others can't force their views on you, so too can you not do the same. Enjoy your fail
You clearly are NOT objectionable as your position REQUIRES you to be! It's called religious freedom for a reason.
Well I do find Scalia, Thomas, and Alito to be pretty objectionable , but I don't think that's actually a REQUIREMENT to be on the Supreme Court.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
